Dr. Jacob worked in the emergency department for 11 years, caring for sick and injured children. Her experiences there reminded her of the importance of prevention by maintaining health and wellness. She believes that as a pediatrician, it is an honor to have the opportunity to care for children and families. She knows it is important to listen to a caregiver’s concerns to fully understand each family’s unique perspective and make sure families feel secure and confident at the end of their visit.
