Gary Chung, MD

BIOGRAPHY

Gary Chung, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing ophthalmology at Evergreen Eye Center for almost twenty years and currently serves as one of the managing partners. Dr. Chung has a special interest in cataract surgery and has extensive experience in laser-assisted cataract surgery and advanced technology intraocular lens implants. He attended Duke University as an undergraduate, where he studied biomedical and electrical engineering. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX where he is originally from. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. His fellowship for Cornea and External Disease was completed at the University of Minnesota. In Dr. Chung’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, as well as golfing.
