Quality & Utilization Management Committee

The Quality & Utilization Management Committee (QUMC) oversees the quality and utilization management activities within ICW. The committee’s primary focus is ensuring ICW is doing its part in improving the quality of patient care and practicing fair and compliant utilization activities.

The committee is open to all active ICW providers, and term lengths are two years. The committee meets monthly to:

Approve quality initiatives
Monitor utilization
Assess timely access to care
Establish authorization guidelines
Review, evaluate, and recommend Board action regarding any quality matters brought before the Board
