Noryang Yeshi, ND

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Yeshi developed an interest in medicine as an undergraduate, primarily in the context of culture and public health. Growing up in a Tibetan refugee settlement in Northern India, she volunteered in various hospital settings that specialized in leprosy and tuberculosis, striving to understand the diseases from their medical, public health and cultural perspectives. She has served as both an interpreter and liaison between health-workers and community members in India and the Tibetan Plateau and remains passionate about public health to this day, striving to incorporate the social aspects of care into her medical practice.

Dr. Yeshi completed her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University, after which she fulfilled two years of a highly competitive residency program at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. During her second year, she completed a primary care rotation at HealthPoint Community Health Center, where she witnessed and managed a broad spectrum of acute and chronic diseases, primarily serving populations that face linguistic barriers in the US healthcare system.

In her free time, Dr. Yeshi enjoys the company of her family and friends, cooking a meal nobody enjoys, and browsing the library for a good book.
