BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Bachhuber-Beam, MD has always had an interest in medicine and at just 1O years old she knew she wanted to be a doctor. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin – but before pursing medicine, she spent three years teaching 8th grade science, an experience that deepened her ability to connect with and educate others. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.
In 2014, Dr. Bachhuber-Beam moved to Seattle for her residency at Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine, where she put down roots and where both of her children were born. After residency, she spent eight years caring for patients at the Seattle Indian Health Board, developing a deep commitment to accessible, culturally responsive medicine.
In 2026, she founded Cherry Blossom Family Medicine, bringing together everything she has learned across her career. Her approach is straightforward: she takes the time to truly know her patients and their families, listens carefully to their goals, and draws on evidence-based medicine to help guide decisions that support a healthy, fulfilling life.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bachhuber-Beam enjoys baking, jogging, and spending time with her family.
