Megan Mendoza, MD

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Mendoza is a board-certified pediatric physician with over a decade of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California at San Diego, and then obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Mendoza spent the first part of her career working at a large community health center before moving to private practice at Seahurst Pediatrics.

In private practice, Dr. Mendoza values the stronger connection she is able to make with her patients and families. This setting allows her greater control over her schedule, increasing continuity of care and her connection to patients. Dr. Mendoza appreciates having control over how her visits with her patients are structured, giving her a strong sense of ownership over the care she can provide. Above all, her greatest joy is being a Burien native and being able to provide care for the community that raised her.

Outside of work, Dr. Mendoza prioritizes time with her two awesome sons and husband. Her favorite hobby is soccer which includes coaching her children, watching the Seattle Sounders FC, playing pick-up games at the park, or indoor games with old friends and teammates. She also enjoys cooking and international travel because she can learn new recipes and try new foods.
