Dr. Gottlieb grew up in New York City but spent the last 40 years in Washington spending time with his four children and one granddog. He received his degree from Yale University and Boston University School of Medicine, where he achieved academic excellence Magna cum Laude (“with great praise”) from each University. His residency was completed in Boston at Boston University Hospital. With his 40 years in medicine, he has led multiple national clinical trials in cardiology as the Principal Clinical Investigator and is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He enjoys being an independent provider because he gets to spend time with his patients and answer any questions they have. If he is not spending time with his family, he enjoys watching an array of films.
