BIOGRAPHY
Priyanka Kawali, MD is a board-certified pediatrician with 17 years of experience in medicine. She grew up in India and attended Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil Rural Medical College where she received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Dr. Kawali completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL.
After relocating to Washington in 2015, Dr. Kawali spent nearly a decade gaining experience at local pediatric clinics before founding Koala Pediatrics in 2025. Her independent practice was built on the belief that every family deserves unhurried, attentive care — and on her deep commitment to listening closely and partnering with families to support each child’s health and well-being.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her kids, traveling, and cooking.
